About

Ruth Wishengrad has been teaching, training and mentoring individuals for over 30 years and now trains teachers and coaches to teach self-confidence and growth mindset to empower children!

At age 21, Ruth was pushed to her physical limits during a 10-week Outward Bound program where she learned she had to shift her thinking from “I can’t” to “I can” in order to make it through each day. By changing her “can’t” to “can” Ruth gained more power and self-confidence than she ever knew she had and was able to complete every strenuous task set in front of her. From that day forward, her mindset became, “I can do it!”

Ruth graduated from Clark University with her certification in Elementary Education, taught in elementary classrooms in the inner city and the suburbs and saw children struggle with self-confidence. After 7 years of teaching, she knew there had to be a way to reach more children. So, she worked as an editor for student and teacher textbooks at Houghton Mifflin and other publishing companies while earning a Masters in Education from Lesley University.

Faced with several significant emotional events in her life, Ruth took a deep dive into personal development for guidance. She became passionate about the effects and power of positive self-talk on self-confidence. She created her own strategies combining mindfulness, mindset, music and movement to facilitate her own transformation.

After experiencing incredible growth in her own life, she now coaches others to do the same. Ruth has developed several programs using music and movement to help take people of all ages to the next level so that they too can find their own voices.
